Critical Thinking: The Soul of Communication
Communication is like a key to a closed door filled with ideas. Without proper communication, doors are shut, miscommunication happens and ineefectiveness will cause company to lose out. As leaders in workplaces, it is important for proper communications so small misunderstanding or communications doesn't get in the way.
It is true that poor communication is linked to poor employee engangment. If new employees are unable to comfortably communicate with their seniors in a workplace, if mistakes have been made or uncertainty arises, they would not know who to turn to for clarification or help.
Critical thinking is required of a leader due to the fact
that they are able to think on the spot and understand the situation fast to
come up with proper solution that could help with any problems faced. Their
communication skills are also an attribute that is strongly encourage due to
the fact that people would look up to them for instructions or clarity in times
of difficulty.
